Have been a loyal customer for 3 years. Rate disagreement over a boy's shirt being charged as an adult dress. The matter could not reach mutual agreement so I have taken my business elsewhere. Disappointed by the lack of customer focus and being told "that's your problem". Oh well!
The new management that took over mid-2011 is very nice, especially compared to the previous management, Battistons.
I had been a customer of this shop for almost 15 years. I asked for a repair on some pants pockets and they said they would sew a patch on the holes. When I got the pants back, not only had they not sewn a patch on, but they hadn't even closed off the holes! I asked them to do what they said they were going to do, and they said they would have to charge me more. I said they should fix it, as they promised me something, didn't deliver what they promised, screwed up the "repair" they did, and made me wait longer. Good customer service would be to admit their screw up and make it right for a long time customer. No good customer service here - they refused to make it right.
Although they may take longer for returns, if you ask them for earlier service they will give it to you. Such a big improvement compared to Battiston's by far.
I would rate this business less stars if I could! A) they are expensive!, B) they don't have a cleaning facility on site (they ship everything to CT) so the normal turn around time is one week, and C) I thought they may redeem themselves by offering a 15% membership program to ease the $88 fee to clean two suits and three pairs of pants, but when I asked to apply to become a member they informed me I couldn't apply for it because my transaction had already been completed. So just to recap, they're expensive, they can't clean your clothing in a timely manner (unless you pay a surcharge), and they're not interested in your repeat business. Do yourself a favor and avoid this business.
