I'm a big fan of Grey Matter Books for the wide selection and very accessible prices, definitely the most bang for your book buck in the Pioneer Valley.

A huge used, rare, and out-of-print book store, very well organized, friendly staff, books in nice condition and very reasonably priced. It's also in a very cool building and accessible via the old rail trail.
Booklover's dream. Curated collection. Impeccable taste. Great prices and generous $1 table (and free table, too!). Totally "local" vibe. Example: First time in the store. I bring a stack of books up to the counter to buy, and as the proprietor is ringing me up, I tell him I have a bunch of books at home to bring in for cash or store credit. He totals everything up and sends me on my way with my purchase saying we'll square up when I bring my books to trade. On a handshake!! No ID, no CC info. Pure cool. That's how you earn loyalty.
